Cations and anion resins can be combined in a vessel to create a mixed bed configuration for various applications. The mixed bed is typically for demineralization as a polishing step after strong acid cation (SAC) and strong base anion (SBA) columns.
PersaLite™ MXB10 and MXB20 Ion Exchange Resins are ready-to-use mixtures of strong acid cation and strong base anion exchange resins. They feature a Gaussian and gel structure and are suitable for industrial demineralization and condensate polishing applications.
MXB10 and MXB20 are polystyrenes crosslinked with divinylbenzene (DVB). These resins provide stable water quality and a long operational lifetime with low levels of silica and total organic carbon (TOC).
